A Few Events in ABQ & Beyond

On a semi-regular basis, I share events in the Albuquerque area-ish with our participants at 1 Million Cups Albuquerque. Sometimes that’s just a few events and sometimes that’s a list, and that’s most Wednesdays for the past four years (!?).

But… The world is more flat at this moment, so while there’s still some connection to our place and the people we know, pretty much anyone can attend our events ‘here,’ just like we can attend events where ever we like. In any case, here’s a local-ish list of events for the Albuquerque area:

CNM’s School of Communication, Humanities & Social Sciences presents a webcast lecture and Q&A event with Dr. Ruha Benjamin, Associate Professor of African American Studies at Princeton University, where she studies social dimensions of science, technology, and medicine.Dr. Benjamin is the founder of the JUST DATA Lab and the author of two books, People’s Science (Stanford) and Race After Technology (Polity), and editor of Captivating Technology (Duke). Dr. Benjamin speaks widely about the relationship between knowledge and power, race and citizenship, health and justice.

Startup Commons: Innovation Entrepreneurship Best Practices with ESHIP Goals 9:30–10:30 AM
